Khushal Khan Khattak University (KKKUK) Karak today successfully conducted a comprehensive fire drill demonstration aimed at significantly raising fire safety awareness and improving emergency response preparedness among its entire university community. The initiative, a collaborative effort with the District Youth Affairs Karak and Civil Defense Karak, saw active participation from all employees, including supporting staff, and a large number of students.
The drill commenced with an insightful and detailed presentation on fire safety awareness delivered by In-charge Civil Defense, Adil Wazir. He elaborated on crucial aspects of fire prevention, the proper use of fire extinguishing equipment, and essential evacuation procedures during a fire emergency. His expertise provided valuable theoretical knowledge to all participants, laying a strong foundation for the practical demonstration that followed.
Under the supervision of Director Administration, Dr. Rafi Ullah Khan, the practical demonstration showcased various techniques for extinguishing different types of fires and executing safe and orderly evacuations. Participants were given hands-on experience and observed real-time scenarios, reinforcing the theoretical concepts discussed earlier. The drill emphasized the importance of quick thinking, coordinated action, and adherence to established safety protocols.
