INTRODUCTION
On behalf of the faculty, staff and students, the Head of the Department warmly welcome the prospective students of Computer science and Bioinformatics to the Department of Computer science and Bioinformatics. Since Computer science & Bioinformatics have become widely recognized discipline and essential source for advancement in communication, sociology, psychology, economics, molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, and microbiology, therefore, it offers the computer scientists scores of excitements and challenging opportunities.

To foster excellent teaching, research, and service that develop highly skilled and educated citizens who can contribute to the uplifting of the well-being of the nation, and the international community.
MISSION
To combine the theoretical and practical aspect of Computer science and Bioinformatics, and its uses in modern world. The program will equip the students with essential skills to the fundamental nature of Computation/Molecular Biology, work placement and career edge in the society.
PROGRAMS OFFERED
Bs Computer Science
Duration: Minimum: 04 Years Maximum: 06 Years
One (1) semester: 18 weeks (Inclusive two (2) weeks for mid & final examinations
Total Semesters: 8 Semesters
Total Credit Hours: 135 (one hundred and thirty-five)
MS Computer Science
BS (COMPUTER SCIENCE) 4 Years Degree Programme (min 130 credit hours).
Computer Science Conversion Course 2 Years Degree Programme referred to as “MCS” or “MSc (CS)”.
BCS-3 years Degree Programme: Student will be required to complete the deficiency of difference of total earned credit hours and 130 credit hours.
16-year Science and Engineering graduates are eligible but they have to cover deficiency.
With minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 or 60% marks in annual system. GAT(General) with minimum 50% score.
BS Bioinformatics
