It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the Convocation has been re-scheduled and shall now be held on 16th February, 2026 (Monday) at the Main Campus of the University.
Furthermore, in order to ensure comprehensive arrangements, rehearsals, venue preparation, and completion of all logistical and administrative tasks in connection with this historic event, Sunday, 15th February, 2026 shall be observed as full working day (duty day) for all Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of the University.
All employees are directed to remain present on Sunday the 15th of February, 2026 and to perform the duties assigned to them by the respective Convocation Committees and their concerned members. No leave shall be admissible on the above-mentioned dates except in cases of extreme emergency, subject to prior approval of the Honourable Vice-Chancellor.
All concerned are advised to ensure strict compliance in the larger interest of the University and the successful conduct of the 1st Convocation.
