The Higher Education for Resilience and Advancement – Kohat Division Development Project (HERA-KDDP) has officially partnered with Khushal Khan Khattak University (KKKU) to introduce a new certificate course in e-commerce. This collaboration is the first of several planned initiatives aimed at equipping students with high-demand skills to enhance employability and foster economic growth in the region.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed today at KKKU, with key representatives in attendance, including Dr. Muhammad Zubair, Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at KKKU; Dr. Ghani Ur Rehman, Focal Person for the KDDP at KKKU; and officials from HERA-KDDP.
This partnership is a significant step forward in HERA-KDDP’s mission to create and support educational programs that directly address the needs of the modern workforce. The e-commerce course will provide students with practical skills and knowledge to succeed in the digital economy, from setting up online stores to managing digital marketing campaigns.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Khushal Khan Khattak University,” said a HERA-KDDP spokesperson. “This partnership reinforces our commitment to providing students with future-ready skills that will not only boost their individual career prospects but also contribute to the overall economic development of the Kohat Division.”
Dr. Muhammad Zubair of KKKU echoed this sentiment, stating, “This collaboration is a testament to our dedication to innovation and our promise to deliver high-quality, relevant education. We are excited about the positive impact this course, and others to follow, will have on our students and the wider community.”
The e-commerce certificate course is the first of many high-demand programs planned under this agreement. Both organizations are committed to expanding educational opportunities to meet the evolving needs of the job market.
