Khushal Khan Khattak University and KPOGCL Forge Strategic Partnership to Promote Research and Development

Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak (KKKUK), and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil & Gas Company Limited (KPOGCL) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, marking the beginning of a significant partnership aimed at fostering collaboration in education, research, and community development. The ceremony, held at Peshawar, was attended by key figures from both organizations, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily and officials from KPOGCL.

The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation on various initiatives, including joint research projects, knowledge sharing, and the development of academic programs relevant to the energy sector. This collaboration will provide KKKUK students and faculty with valuable opportunities for practical experience and exposure to the industry.

During the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Khalily expressed his appreciation for the initiative, stating, “This partnership is a testament to our commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry. We are confident that this collaboration will lead to groundbreaking research and provide our students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the workforce.” He further pledged his full support to the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) team at KKKUK to ensure the success of this and future initiatives.

KPOGCL officials also highlighted the mutual benefits of the partnership, emphasizing the importance of working with academic institutions to drive innovation and support the local community.
